meinestadt.de: Slide and Tilt with the iPhone

meinestadt.de has updated its free iPhone-App to 3.0. This means not only a new design, but new features. Individualization is the key.
Apps for Local Search are becoming more and more personal. First the android-capability of Das Örtliche (we report), now meinestadt.de: the menu categories aren’t just symbols anymore, but they can be arranged according to the user’s personal taste. This is advantageous to those interested in quick results for local radius searches. The features work in harmony with the iPhone: the user can slide through the icons, and when the phone is tilted, the map will be displayed horizontally.
