Gowalla: Now Available as 2.0 for Android

The check-in service Gowalla has given in: the app is now starting up as 2.0 of android cellphones. With this is a number of new features.
What the provider regards as especially exciting was posted in their own blog.
– Photos – now you can share photos and also view existing photos at a Spot
- Comments – yup: comment away to your heart’s content on your own check-ins and also on friends’ posts
- Trips – view friends recommended trips and bookmarked spots
- Friend requests – now you can accept/reject friend requests on the fly à la Facebook
