From GoYellow to 118000

The GoYellow Media AG will now be known as 11800 AG. With the name change of the holding company which owns GoYellow.de, the connection server 118000.de should be more recognizable.
Klaus Harisch, the chairman of the board of the company, justified the change with the expectation “that 118000, the telephone central for Germany, will bring the highest share of sales in the coming years.” In order to make the new operation as well-known as possible, the holding company’s name has been changed.
The connection server 118000 should protect peoples’ privacy. Whoever does not wish to have his contact information published in the internet or in a printed directory, can access www.118000.de and register his telephone number in a safe data bank. Call center workers, who act like a telephone central by distributing calls, contact the registered participants to inform of an incoming call and the purpose thereof. A connection will only be made when the user wishes to accept the call.
