Foursquare: “Houston, we have a Check-in!“
Even though we usually don’t hear any interesting news about Foursquare, there is always the occasional For the first time, an astronaut, Douglas H. Weelock, has checked in using Foursquare – and not on the Earth, but on board the International Space Station (ISS).
As reward, Weelock received the NASA Explorer Badge. Foursquare calls for astronauts to show this badge while on board to get a portion of astronaut ice cream. There is a cooperation between NASA and the Check-In provider, for which a badge can be obtained through a check-in at the Kennedy Space Center, in the NASA headquarters, NASA Space Center in Houston, or in the US Space Camp.
In this case, dear Foursquare: Live long and prosper!
