Partnership Between Telmap and Das Örtliche

Telmap, leader for mobile local services, is now cooperating with Das Örtliche and is integrating the information from the German telephone directory in the German edition of the Telmap Mobile Location Companion.
The Telmap service is the first individual mobile companion worldwide that offers its users a search function, maps, navigation, local information like public transportation, radar cameras, and information to points of interests (POIs), according to the company. For many German users, the Telmap Mobile Location Companion is now available with the complete information from Das Örtliche: For machines operation Windows Phone 7, the app is available. Blackberry, Android, and Java Touch versions should be following shortly.
Telmap delivers so-called white-label solutions for mobile network operators and proclaims that is has the most exact local companion for special segments, markets, and geographic regions.
