11880.com With Ratings Widget for Small/Mid-Sized Businesses

The online directory 11880.com has, like the rating community golocal, given into the demands of the market: a free ratings widget is now available with integrated links to business websites.
The new rating tool is available for all business entries on the portal, according to telegate, the operator of 11880.com. The inspiration for the new feature was that one in two consumers in Germany looks for consumer ratings about products and services before investing money, but only about one in ten small/mid-sized businesses use online recommendations for marketing. telegate cites a current consumer survey from klicktel.de and one of their own studies. With the new ratings widget, 11880.com wants to balance the scale.
On the website, users can rate all businesses listed and directly relay this to their own peers through a direct link to Facebook. There are currently more than 400,000 ratings on 11880.com as well as through its local search app. With the help of the widget, companies can post ratings directly to their company website with a hotlink to 11880.com. This installation is apparently easy as pie, based on the description: businesses just need to pull up the entry in question, click on the detailed view option, and then on the link “Ratings for your homepage”, which then brings the user to the widget configurator. After some small adjustments, an HTML code is generated, which can easily be copied and pasted right onto the user’s own homepage.
