Das Telefonbuch: Improved WAP-Site

Shortly after the optimized app for the iPhone and iPad, Das Telefonbuch has also added some new, useful features to its mobile internet version.
Users can access the site under mobil.dastelefonbuch.de to check out the new capability to search for places on-the-go, in addition to using the previous features such as a standard search, vicinity search, expanded detail view, or emergency numbers. Depending on how large the cellular device’s display and the GPS is, there is also a route planner and map function. The nice thing about that is that the edited browser-based application automatically recognizes the cellular model and accordingly changes the site to fit the device.
In addition to the GPS-based localization function and the location-based vicinity search, there is also the possibility to search based on postal code or area code. Also new and quite practical: the results can be organized alphabetically with just a click.
