Gelbe Seiten iPhone App Now With Navigation

Das Telefonbuch did it about three weeks ago, now Gelben Seiten is following suit: with the new application, the iPhone or the iPad can become a navigation system – for free. Integration with the V-Navi-App from the cooperation partner Map and Route makes this possible, much like the app for Das Telefonbuch.
The new app version for Gelbe Seiten is now available for download in the App Store. In order to use the free navigation system, users also have to download the V-Navi-App out of the application – and it can get going immediately: through speech output, the iPhone navigates entire routes within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Users can search for businesses to be navigated towards, or can enter in an address manually. All functions that are available on a standard navigation system are available: there is a warning for speed, a night-view mode, and the maps can be zoomed and turned.
By the way, you save about 30 Euro with the integrated V-Navi-App – that’s how much it actually costs after the 30-day free trail. For those that need map material for other European countries can download it for about 25 Euro cheaper at 15 Euro.
