Quicker.com Puts Local Product-Search in Focus
Quicker has finished its Beta phase and is now introducing itself with new functionalities and the first regional offers. The location-based service portal, which launched in September last year, will put its regional product offering in residential trade into focus.
Quicker, a platform direct out of the forge of the EOL Group, that calls itself an “online media house”, is the first portal that combines the features of different web services like directories, search-, ratings- and recommendations-functions, check-ins, social networking and coupon-deals, all on one site, according to a press release. Well that’s being put carefully…but quite confident. What about similar sites like qype, golocal or meinestadt.de?
Whatever, a little ambition never hurt anyone and Quicker is another portal for regional traders to draw some attention to themselves and to win some new customers. In addition, the numbers do provide a promising future: according to the site, there are over 2.5 million companies with over 8 million products on Quicker.com. And: with user generated entries, as well as strategic partnerships, the number of new companies is rising by 20,000 on a weekly basis.
