The search engine giant’s deal service Google Offers now offers personalized local deals in addition to a wide offering of daily deals.
Google Offers users can now find numerous deals from new sources, . This is due to a cooperation with the “best” couponing platforms like Dealfind, DoodleDeals, Gilt City, GolfNow, HomeRun, Juice in the City, kgbdeals, Mamapedia, Plum District, PopSugar Shop, ReachDeals, Active.com Schwaggle, TIPPR and zozi. Google Offers, however, still being in the beta phase, is only available in 17 US cities at this time, though the availability should expand soon.

Another improvement offered by Google Offers: personalized deals, meaning deals custom-cut for users. Users can enter what type of deals they are interested and limit this even further by marking locations that they like going to. Users then only receive emails pertinent to their demands.

The updates were made possible in cooperation with The Dealmap team, which Google took over in August of this year. The company purchased the Berlin-based startup DailyDeal shortly afterwards, which offers deals throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Because of this, we speculate that Google Offers will be made available here pretty soon.
