Anke Wollny is a historian and ‘Germanist.’ She has worked as a freelance journalist since 2002, mainly in the online sector. The developments in the area of search engines, and especially local search engines has intrigued her for quite a while, and she’s delighted to be a regular contributor to this blog.

Ute Sabine De Mitri [a.k.a "UDM"]

Freelance journalist since 2001. Actually a successful ballerina, she decided for jounalism after her ballet training and dance contracts. Also qualified in the banking field, she has specialized in the areas of Finances and Law. Through assignments for on-line media, she discovered yet another interest- that of ‘I.T. and Telecomm’.
