Milo: Where to buy, and when, how much?
The US American product search Milo is launching for the Android and will officially make the status of location-based service. The server describes itself as the market leader for local online shopping. The new mobile application is the “only app in the Android Market to search the inventory systems of local stores in real-time and tell on-the-go shoppers what’s currently in-stock where, and who has the best local price”, according to a press release. “You’ve Got Mail“: Sounds that Revolutionized Two Decades
Okay, so it doesn’t directly have anything to do with the local search theme, but we’ve just fallen in love with this article form Mashable. It lists typical sounds that are embedded in the minds of the children of the digital generation – from AOL’s “You’ve Got Mail”, the Nokia ringtone, to even the start up melody for Windows. Not only can you hear the sounds, but you can also hear the designated designer for each of them was inspired. Study: Local Search Engines Under Usability-Check
Just how user friendly are local search engines? This was proofed by Sonja Quirmbach, the search engine expert from the Deutsche Telekom, with Dr. Dirk Lewandowski, professor at the Hamburg University of Applied Scientists.
